HC Deb 22 July 1924 vol 176 cc1129-30W
Major BIRCHALL

asked the Parliamentary Secretary to the Admiralty whether he is aware that there is no record on the Zeebrugge Mole of the exploit of the "Vindictive"; and can be arrange for a suitable and simple tablet to be placed there?

Mr. AMMON

A memorial to this exploit is, as the hon. and gallant Member is perhaps aware, in course of erection at the base of the Mole, funds having been subscribed for the purpose in Belgium and in this country, and it is understood that a tablet will also be placed on the Mole and unveiled at the same time as the Zeebrugge Memorial.
