§ Mr. TURNERasked the Prime Minister if, in view of the statement of the Lord Chancellor that the drink question is a question too urgent to be left alone, the Government is prepared to take action regarding the same; and, if so, whether by legislation or by inquiry?
§ The PRIME MINISTERAt this stage of the Parliamentary Session, when the pressure of business is so great, it is not possible for the Government to take action regarding this question; but when the House meets in the Autumn, they will consider the whole matter, and a definite statement will be made.
