HC Deb 27 February 1924 vol 170 c485W
Mr. HAYES

asked the Minister of Health whether any of the subsidy houses now in course of construction in Liverpool are to be sold; and, if so, can any steps be taken to secure these houses for letting so that families unable to purchase the same will not be placed in an unfair position?

Mr. WHEATLEY

I have no information whether the houses in question are to be sold or let, but, as the hon. Member is aware, the local authority have recently submitted and obtained approval of a scheme for the erection of houses by the local authority which will no doubt be available for the applicants referred to in the question.
