HC Deb 23 April 1923 vol 163 c69W
Mr. MIDDLETON

asked the Postmaster-General whether the insanitary conditions of the Lydney Post Office have yet received his attention; whether he is aware that the staff are suffering in consequence; and whether, in view of the danger to the health of poor families who are affected by the bad condition of the drains, he will cause the necessary remedies to be effected without further delay?

Sir W. JOYNSON-HICKS

I would refer the hon. Member to the reply given to a similar question asked by the Member for the Forest of Dean (Mr. Wignall) on the 22nd ultimo. Tenders for the relaying of the drains have now been received, and the work is about to be put in hand.
