HC Deb 09 February 1922 vol 150 cc334-5W
Mr. C. WHITE

asked the Financial Secretary to the Treasury what special trains were provided between London and Cannes in connection with the Conference; who travelled by them; what was the cost involved; and what was the total cost of the Conference?

Mr. H. YOUNG

No special trains wore provided by His Majesty's Government in connection with the Cannes Conference, and the second and third parts of the question, therefore, do not arise. The total cost to British funds of attendance at the Conference is estimated at £300, mainly incurred on travelling expenses as the Delegation was the guest of the French Government at Cannes.
