§ Mr. A. T. DAVIES
asked the Under-Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether, seeing that the German Government has imposed taxes upon British subjects visiting Germany, contrary to the Treaty of Versailles, any representation has been made to the German Government on the matter; and what is the nature of the German Government's reply?
§ Mr. RONALD McNEILL
Yes, Sir. Frequent representations have been made and it is on account of the failure of the German Government to give satisfaction that, as I have already informed the House, His Majesty's Government are in consultation with their Allies in the matter.
