§ Mr. SHORTTThirteen accidents have been reported at these works during the last 12 months. The room referred to has been partitioned, and one part of it is now used as a cost office, but the other part continues to be used for first-aid treatment. It is supplied with first-air requisites and is in charge of a welfare superintendent who has had considerable experience of first-aid work.
