Mr. WISE

Mr. YOUNG

The tax revenue costs approximately £13,300,000 to collect The percentage of cost of collection to revenue collected was in 1913–14 rather over 2.7 per cent.; and in 1920–21 varies from slightly over 1 per cent, for inland revenue, and 1.5 per cent, for Customs and Excise revenue, to nearly 3.5 per cent. for motor taxation.
