Sir J. D. REESasked the Home Secretary if he can give the number of convictions for drunkenness which took place in England and Wales during the quarters ended 31st December, 1920, and 31st March, 1921, with comparative figures for the corresponding quarters of 1919 and 1920, respectively?
§ Mr. SHORTTThese figures are collected annually, so that it is not possible to give figures for the quarter ending in March last. The figures for the quarters ending in December of 1919 and 1920 respectively are 21,134 and 23,070: those for the quarter ending in March 1920 are 24,529.
