HC Deb 03 March 1921 vol 138 c2046W
Mr. STANTON

asked the Home Secretary if his attention has been called to the charges made at the Merthyr Tydvil Board of Guardians last Saturday by Mr. A. V. Marriot, namely, that the patients at the Glamorganshire County Asylums were herded together; and will he have inquiries made into this matter at once?

Dr. ADDISON

I am advised by the Board of Control that the expression to which the hon. Member refers is not justified by the facts. The reports on the institution which have been received do, however, indicate certain defects, and I am having the matter further investigated.
