HC Deb 20 June 1921 vol 143 cc916-7W
Brigadier-General SURTEES

asked the Under-Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether His Majesty's Government is giving any assistance, directly or indirectly, to the Greeks in their campaign against the Turks?

Mr. HARMSWORTH

I must refer the hon. and gallant Member to the answer given by the Leader of the House last Thursday.

Brigadier-General SURTEES

asked the Under-Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether His Majesty's Government has caused any admonition to be conveyed to the Greek authorities with reference to the recently reported atrocities?

Mr. HARMSWORTH

Representations were made to the Greek Government on receipt of the first report; now that the full reports are in the hands of His Majesty's Government, the French and Italian Governments are being consulted as to any further Allied action.
