SANDERSUnder an Order confirmed by the Ministry on the 20th November, 1919, under the Land Drainage Act, 1918, a Drainage Board was established having jurisdiction over about 11,000 acres, including certain land in the parishes of East Molesey and West790W Molesey. Under this Order the Drainage Board have the power to levy a rate to enable them to cleanse and improve the water courses in their area, and the rate to which the hon. and gallant Member refers is one levied in pursuance of the Board's powers.
