§ Sir R. HORNEThe value of the total imports into the United Kingdom, registered during the year 1913 as consigned from Russia, was £40,270,539. As I have already explained, the term Russia in 1913 included territories which, at that time, were incorporated in the Russian Empire, but which are now independent States, and are open to trade.
