RUTHERFORDasked the President of the Board of Education whether the Board of Education is responsible for the preparation of "The Hygiene of Food and Drink," being a pamphlet entitled "The Syllabus of Lessons for use in Schools, and Notes for the assistance of Teachers"; whether he is personally aware of the contents of such syllabus; and whether he considers it any part of the duty of the Board of Education to disseminate teetotalism views amongst the pupils of the schools?
Mr. H. LEWISI would refer the hon. Member to the answer which I gave on 22nd November to the hon. and gallant Member for Kensington North (Lieut. -Colonel Burgoyne). I do not accept the description of the document and its purpose implied by the last part of the question.
