HC Deb 22 November 1920 vol 135 c74W
Mr. WATERSON

asked the Minister of Transport if Appeal Boards and a National Wages Board has yet been established to deal with clerks in the railway service; if not, what is the reason for the delay: and when will such boards be instituted?

Sir E. GEDDES

It has not been decided to set up Appeal Boards or Wages Boards to deal with the salaries or conditions of service of railway clerks, but a Committee exists on each line to deal with appeals against the recent classification.
