Captain COOTEasked the Pensions Minister whether he is aware that Pte. G. W. Goodger, No. 21,951, late King's Own Yorkshire Light Infantry, who appealed against the stoppage of his pension, was refused pension by the Appeal Board in London on 9th April; that this soldier was shot through the abdomen in 1916, and still suffers severe pain from his wound; and that he was in Addenbrook's Hospital, Cambridge, from 23rd February to 6th April of this year in consequence; and whether he will take steps to remedy the injustice that has been committed in this case?
§ Mr. MACPHERSONI am having full inquiry made into this case, and will inform my hon. and gallant Friend of the result.
