HC Deb 06 May 1920 vol 128 cc2271-2W
Mr. TURTON

asked the Parliamentary Secretary to the Ministry of Agriculture whether he has realised the grave position of many tenant farmers now under notice to quit; and whether, in view of the urgent necessity for the immediate production of the Bill promised by the Prime Minister dealing with security of tenure, to prevent these wholesale evictions of deserving tenants without compensation, he can now state when the Bill will be brought in?

Commander LOCKER-LAMPSON

asked the Parliamentary Secretary to the Ministry of Agriculture when it is intended to introduce the promised Agricultural Bill?

Sir A. BOSCAWEN

I would refer my hon. Friends to the reply given this afternoon by the Leader of the House to the hon. and gallant Member for the Daventry Division of Northampton.
