Captain COOTEasked the Minister of Pensions whether he is aware that Company Sergeant-Major G. Murfit, No. 4,017, 2nd Battalion Suffolk Regiment, now of Leverington, Wisbech, received a written promise of a grant of £50 from the King's Fund upon condition that he obtained a small holding from the county council; that he obtained a small holding seven months ago; that the money has never yet been paid; and whether he will cause it to be paid without further delay?
§ Major TRYONA grant of £60 was authorised through the Local War Pensions Committee in October, 1919, for stock and implements to commence fruit and poultry farming. I am making immediate inquiries into the circumstances in which payment has not been made, and will communicate the result to the hon. and gallant Member.
