Sir L. HARMSWORTHasked the Postmaster-General whether he is aware of the acute dissatisfaction which exists with the postal arrangements of the east coast of Caithness southwards from Wick; what steps, if any, he proposes to take to remove such dissatisfaction; and whether he will consider the utilisation of the Wick and Lybster Railway for this purpose?
§ Mr. ILLINGWORTHI have authorised an improvement, the details of which I am about to communicate to the hon. Baronet. The use of the Wick and Lybster Railway for the conveyance of mails has again been considered, but it would be less convenient and more expensive than road conveyance.
