HC Deb 29 March 1920 vol 127 c919W
Mr. BROMFIELD

asked the Home Secretary whether, in view of the feeling of indignation throughout North Staffordshire and other parts of the country against the sentence of four months' imprisonment passed on Arthur Barker at the Stafford Assizes, he can see his way to recommend a reduction of the sentence?

Mr. SHORTT

I would refer the hon. Member to the reply which was given to him in regard to this case on Thursday last.
