HC Deb 29 March 1920 vol 127 c913W
Mr. WATERSON

asked the Prime Minister what is the Government's intention as to the majority Report of the Royal Commission on Marriage and Divorce.

The PRIME MINISTER

A very large number of recommendations, all of which merit mature consideration, and many of a far-reaching character, were made in the majority Report of this Commission. The minority Report shows that some of the recommendations must be regarded as highly controversial. There is a Bill pending in the House of Lords to give effect to some of the recommendations.
