§ Mr. A. T. DAVIS asked the Minister of Health whether he is now in a position to announce the result of his representations to the authorities of the Sheffield Street Hospital for Women at Clare Market, W.C.2, with reference to the appointment of two men doctors to the posts of medical officers and assistant medical officers, respectively, and to the desirability, admitted by the Ministry of Health, of appointing women to posts of this kind?
§ Dr. ADDISON: I have now been informed by the authorities of the hospital that the desirability of selecting women for posts of this character will receive special consideration in connection with any future appointments.
