§ Mr. SHORTTDuring the past five years the Home Office has received very few complaints as to exits and overcrowd- 1085W ing in cinema theatres. The police have full power to enter such establishments and to prosecute the manager in cases where the Regulations—which make full provision for the public safety—are not complied with.
