§ Mr. LAWSONasked the Minister of Health whether he is aware that the Sanitary Inspectors' Association have made repeated applications for a deputation to be received by him with regard to the differentiation in salaries paid to sanitary inspectors in the various London boroughs and the inadequacy of such salaries; and whether he will arrange to receive the deputation from the association at a convenient date?
§ Dr. ADDISONThe whole question of the relation of the Ministry to the salaries paid to Local Government Officers will come under consideration in connection with the contemplated legislation in connection with Health Services and the Reform of the Poor Law, and I therefore do not consider that there would be any advantage in receiving the proposed deputation at the present time.
