HC Deb 28 April 1920 vol 128 cc1242-3W
Mr. CHARLES EDWARDS

asked the Secretary of State for War and Air whether he is aware that Captain Gee has been addressing soldiers at Caterham barracks, Surrey, on political and industrial questions, and that, in his speech on mines and miners, the men resented the disparaging statements made by him against the latter; and whether, seeing that such speeches tend to create prejudice and bad feeling in the Army against the workers of this country, he will give instructions for this part of the training to cease?

Mr. CHURCHILL

I am making inquiries and will write to the hon. Member on the matter in due course.
