§ Mr. McCURDYOwing to the administration difficulties involved, it has been found impossible to fix differential prices for meat according to quality. I am aware that the present arrangement is not in every way satisfactory, but I am afraid that no alteration is practicable so long as the controlled distribution of meat, and guaranteed prices to the farmer are necessary.
