§ Major ASTORThe Local Government Board have issued a circular to local Authorities recommending them to award war bonuses to their staffs on the Civil Service scale, and they have sanctioned the payment of war bonuses in accordance with this scale where their sanction was necessary I have no complete information as to the bonuses actually awarded.
