HC Deb 04 June 1919 vol 116 c2032W
Mr. GRUNDY

asked the Secretary of State for War whether civil telegraphists in Egypt went on strike during April; whether the Royal Engineer telegraphists were compelled to act as strike-breakers; and, if so, under what authority?

Mr. CHURCHILL

Inquiries are being made, and I will write to the hon. Member as soon as I am in a position to do so.
