§ Mr. RAWLINSONasked the President of the Board of Trade whether, having regard to the importance of our encouraging trade with the Czecho-Slovak Republic, he will cease to prohibit the importation of hops from Bohemia now that the reasons for any restrictions on such importations have ceased to exist?
§ Mr. BRIDGEMANThe importation of hops from foreign countries is regulated by reference to the requirements of this country and to the existence of adequate quantities of suitable home-and-colonial grown hops. I cannot accept the suggestion in the latter part of the question.
