§ Mr. TOOTILLasked the First Commissioner of Works if he will improve the lighting and heating of the Central Hall and, before deciding definitely on the point, ascertain the views of those who are chiefly subject to its inconveniences?
§ Mr. PARKERThe lighting was reduced as a war economy, and can easily be improved. The present heating is provided by admitting warm air through gratings in the floor on the four sides of the hall. I shall be pleased, however, to consider any representations on this matter, but I must add that no provision has been made in the Estimates for any expenditure during the current, year.
