§ Colonel MORDENasked the Secretary of State for War how many officers and men are employed on the demobilisation staff at Crowborough; the ranks of the officers so employed; the total monthly expenditure on the maintenance of this staff; and the expenditure during the last three months for maintenance of buildings; and whether there have been numerous complaints as to the slipshod way in which the demobilisation arrangements have recently been conducted at Crowborough?
§ Mr. CHURCHILL.There is no Dispersal Unit at Crowborough; officers and men who are eligible for demobilisation, and who are stationed at Crowborough, are sent to a Dispersal Unit near their homes, and pass through the demobilisation procedure on arrival at such Dispersal Unit. The other parts of the question, therefore, do not arise.
