§ Mr. RUPERT GWYNNEasked the Secretary to the Treasury if Entertainments Tax is charged on a flower show, organised by a women's institute, at which the only entertainments are sports and dancing, and at which the charge of 6d. for non-members and 3d. for members its made merely towards defraying some of the expenses; and whether when the tax was imposed it was intended to apply to an undertaking of this kind?
