HC Deb 02 April 1919 vol 114 cc1217-8W
Major-General Sir JOHN DAVIDSON

asked the First Lord of the Admiralty whether, in view of a petition received from over seventy fishermen and others dependent for their living on the fairway of the Hamble River being kept open, he will take early steps to remove the moorings and vessels with which this fairway is now blocked?

Dr. MACNAMARA

Orders were given on 14th March that as the motor launches in the Hamble River are sold and removed, the moorings should be lifted—beginning at the up-river end.
