HC Deb 21 March 1918 vol 104 c1185W
Mr. KING

asked the Parliamentary Secretary to the Ministry of Food whether he has inquired into the case of twenty barrels of fish which lay at Temple Mead Station, Bristol, from 10th to 17th March, and were then unfit for food; and whether care is to be taken to prevent food being spoiled by long delays in transit?

Mr. CLYNES

I have no knowledge of this case, but I have caused inquiries to be made. I am assured that the utmost care is taken to prevent food from being spoiled by long delays in transit.
