§ Mr. KINGasked the President of the Board of Education whether, in view of his decision that the nursery schools and continuation schools suggested by the Education Bill are not to be public elementary schools within the meaning of the Education Acts, it is the intention of the Government to treat them as other than elementary and subject to Sections 3 and 4 of the Education Act, 1902?
§ Mr. FISHERThe nursery schools will be supplied or aided under Part III. and continuation schools will be established and maintained under Part II. of the Education Act, 1902. Sections 3 and 4 of that Act will, therefore, apply to continuation schools, but not to nursery schools.
