asked the Under-Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs what was the amount of malt exported from this country in 1915, 1916, and 1917; and what was the destination of such malt exported?

Mr. WARDLE

My right hon. Friend has asked me to answer this question. The total exports of malt from the United Kingdom were 1,240,000 cwts. in 1915, 530,000 cwts. in 1916, and 161,000 cwts. in the first ten months of 1917. Particulars as to the destinations of the exports in each year are given below:
