HC Deb 12 November 1917 vol 99 c52W
Mr. W. THORNE

asked the Financial Secretary to the War Office whether it is proposed to increase the pensions of the few remaining old soldiers who served through the Indian mutiny, most of whom are in straits at the present time owing to the increased cost of living?

Mr. FORSTER

The answer is in the negative. I regret it is not possible to deal with this class of pensioners by themselves.
