HC Deb 12 November 1917 vol 99 cc50-1W
Colonel CLIVE

asked the Under Secretary of State for War if he is aware that some 400 shell-shock patients are being treated at the 4th London General. Hospital at Denmark Hill and other similar cases at Golders Green, where their condition is aggravated by every air raid; and whether he can see his way to removing these cases to a quieter area?

Mr. MACPHERSON

As, regards Golders Green, I must refer my hon. and gallant Friend to my right hon. Friend the Minister for Pensions. It may be possible to discontinue the neurological centre in London as a treatment centre in connection with changes which are now being made.
