HC Deb 21 March 1917 vol 91 cc1943-4W
Mr. KENNEDY

asked the Vice-President of the Department of Agriculture (Ireland) what became of the crops grown at the Ballyhaise Agricultural Station in 1915 on the 123 acres then cultivated and on the 105 acres cultivated in 1916; will he state for these years the cost of raising these various crops in detail; and also what the same realised and where they were disposed of?

Mr. DUKE

Crops grown on the Ballyhaise farm in 1915 and 1916 were partly; fed to farm stock and partly sold. The Department of Agriculture are not in a position to furnish detailed information as to the cost of raising a particular crop, nor as to the sums realised by the various crops. The portions sold were disposed of locally.
