asked the President of the Board of Trade if he can state the total amount of raw rubber in weight imported into the United Kingdom during each of the years 1913, 1914, 1915, and 1916, and the market price of rubber in London on 1st June of each of those years and of 1917?

The total quantities of raw rubber (including waste and reclaimed rubber) imported into the United Kingdom from all sources during the years specified were as follows:

Centals of 100 lbs.

1914 1,515,196
1915 1,302,256
1916 1,735,754

The London market prices of the undermentioned descriptions of rubber on the 1st June in each of the five years 1913–17 were as stated below:
