§ Mr. NIELDasked the Home Secretary whether he is aware that an unnaturaliscd German, named Hoffmann, is trading as a jeweller in Ealing under the assumed name of Mann, in competition with British subjects whose staff has been almost wholly taken for military service; and whether he will end this state of things, which has created a feeling in Ealing and affects the working of the Military Service Acts, and require this man to be interned or removed for work of national importance under supervision at a distance from his present place of operations?
