§ Sir R. WINFREYSection 6 of the Ground Game Act, 1880, prohibits the use of spring traps except in rabbit holes. The Board's views on the question of cruelty in trapping hares and rabbits are set out in their Leaflet No. 228, a copy of which I will send the hon. Member. The Board do not at present propose to take further steps in the matter.
