§ Mr. LONGThe Governor of the East Africa Protectorate has been authorised to appoint a local Commission, including unofficial representatives, to consider the proposals which have been made for the settlement of ex-service men on the land. The Commission's Report has not yet reached me. The answer to the last part of the question is in the negative.
