HC Deb 04 April 1917 vol 92 c1311W
Mr. WATT

asked the Under-Secretary of State for War whether his attention has been called to the number of young men of military age that have been exempted by the Port of London Tribunal; and if he is aware that these young men are engaged to do the work of several members of the tribunal and that older men are daily refused the opportunity of doing this work on account of those of military age being employed on it?

Mr. MACPHERSON

I have called for a report on the circumstances suggested by my hon. Friend, but it would facilitate inquiries if he would furnish details of the employers to whom he refers.
