HC Deb 12 October 1916 vol 86 c207W
Sir J. LONSDALE

asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer what amount, if any, has been collected in Ireland for Entertainments Duty in respect of meetings of the Gaelic Athletic Association?

Mr. McKENNA

It is not possible to state the amount of tax paid in respect of a particular class of entertainments, as no official record of stamps is or can be kept after they are sold to the public.
