asked the President of the Board of Trade whether the Food Controller will deal only with supplies and consumption of the civil population or will co-operate with the supply branches of the War Office and the Admiralty?

Mr. PRETYMAN

The requirements of the Army and Navy will receive due consideration in any steps taken with reference to civilian food supplies, and every effort will be made to ensure the effective co-operation of the various Departments concerned.
