§ Mr. BARNESasked the Minister of Munitions if he is aware that the statement made by him respecting the deportees from Glasgow, namely, that while the men are unemployed allowances are being made to their families, has been challenged by one of the deportees; and can he clear the matter up by the production of evidence of the receipt of such allowances?
§ Dr. ADDISONI have made further inquiry into this matter and am sending my right hon. Friend a detailed statement in regard to each of the deported men. I should add that the statement shows that2738W payments have been made to the families of the men removed in all cases where the families could be traced and where they were dependent upon the man.
