§ Mr. COOTEasked the Postmaster-General if he is aware that the closing of the post office at Ballyreagh, situated between Ballygawley and Dungannon, county Tyrone, which has been in existence for fifty years, and the substitution for it 1931W of a pillar-box will cause inconvenience to the residents of a district comprising an area of five miles and consisting of seventeen townlands; is he aware that sixty-eight pensioners will be thus deprived of a convenient centre from which to draw their pensions and the public will be obliged to travel from four to five miles to dispatch their parcels and over-weight letters at Ballygawley; and, seeing that the mail car running to and from the head post office at Dungannon passes through 1932W Ballyreagh and that the present occupier of the old post-office premises at Ballyreagh is prepared to discharge the duties of sub-postmaster on terms which, while providing for an efficient service, will effect a considerable saving of expense to the Post Office, will he give instructions that the facilities hitherto enjoyed by the residents of this district shall be continued?
