HC Deb 04 July 1916 vol 83 c1377W
Colonel MEYSEY-THOMPSON

asked the Secretary to the Board of Trade whether, in view of the fact that numbers of passengers are constantly unable to find proper seating accommodation on the railway trains, he will consider the possibility of providing some extra accommodation during the summer months on the main lines of railway?

Mr. HARCOURT

The railway companies assure me that they will do everything they can to provide sufficient accommodation for the traffic to be conveyed during the summer months.
