HC Deb 18 December 1916 vol 88 cc1128-9W
Mr. H. LAW

asked the Financial Secretary to the War Office why no separation allowance was paid to Mrs. Mary Sweeney, Acres, Burtonport, in respect of her son, No. 3085, Private Hugh Sweeney, 6th Battalion Royal Irish Regiment, prior to the 28th June, 1915, having regard to the fact that the man enlisted on 23rd February, 1915; and whether he will see that the sum due to her for arrears, of approximately eighteen weeks, are paid to her without delay?

Inquiries will be made, and the hon. Member informed of the result in due course.
